In the context of the evolutionary transition to a higher level of existence, over the past 20 years I have
been concerned with the question of how people who consciously or unconsciously carry out their life plans can
do so undisturbed. I have examined bottlenecks and solutions. The best solutions are incorporated into the
life plans.
Everyone can now shape their own life according to their life plan and joint life plans without being pulled
from their own path by unexpected encounters or events.
So this phase is completed.
I am now working on a new assignment, a new design.
This design should ensure that every encounter will lead to the creation of the best life for everyone.
(That is what I think now. The idea still needs to become a bit clearer.)
At the moment I am still in the phase of gathering information, but I am also already working on the new design.
The new assignment was brought to my attention by a few notable traffic situations.
It began with an unsafe situation in my street. A crossing for cyclists and pedestrians is not marked,
while the cycle path is now difficult to see because of the vegetation. More and more cars passed by that
were driving far too fast for the situation and crossed the cycle path without looking around or slowing down.
This was an unsafe situation because slow traffic and fast traffic were using the same stretch of road. Translated
into the evolutionary transition to a higher level of existence: people who still live in the old way and
people who live in the new way can collide with each other when their paths cross without them realizing it.
To make this situation safer, markings have now been placed on the road to bring the cyclist crossing to the
attention of motorists.
The second situation was actually quite funny, but my body's survival response was not. A dog suddenly found me unexpectedly on his 'sniffing route' and started barking loudly at me to get me to move aside. It only lasted a short time and I wasn't terribly shocked, but my body went into complete spasm.
The third situation was so striking that I understood that the situations pointed me to a problem on our
collective path that required a solution.
A certain passageway that only cyclists and pedestrians can pass through was permanently blocked for larger
traffic with a row of concrete blocks. The passageway was already blocked by two red-and-white posts that
could be flattened if necessary. Because of the concrete blocks, no large traffic could pass through the
passageway at all. The red-and-white posts had therefore lost their function but were still there.
A truck was standing on a cross road right between the posts and the blocks. The driver had to flatten the
posts to get away. He saw my surprise at the situation and told me that the residents in the residential area
on the side of the concrete blocks no longer wanted large trucks through their neighborhood.
Understandable, but clearly not much thought had been given to the consequences of permanently closing the
passage. Now there was only one exit for all residents. A slow route with all kinds of speed bumps. In addition,
there was a school near the blocked passageway. Suppose something happens in that residential area or at the
school, emergency services such as fire brigade, ambulance and police can no longer reach the problem via
the quickest route! Perhaps another important addition: the residential area that imposed requirements on the
passage near the school consists of owner-occupied homes, while the neighborhood on the other side of the
red-and-white posts consists mainly of rental properties.
This is about creating separation based on self-interest and short-term thinking.
So there's quite a lot going on at the intersection between the old and the new!
My body's rapid survival response when confronted with the ferociously barking dog respirited me of all the other times in my life when people found me 'on their path' and then tried to change my spirit or chase me away with intimidating behavior.
I have always lived with people who made it difficult for me to follow my life plan. These people regularly
put me in situations where my ‘Being’, who I really am, was denied and suppressed, because they thought they
needed me to create the life they wanted.
That led to traumatic situations that were stored in my body. My survival system was therefore on edge. My body
has become convinced by all these experiences that I should better stop following my life path. Because that
inevitably leads to threatening situations. My body tries to protect me by making it difficult for me to walk,
by generating pain in my legs, hips and pelvic area.
I wondered how that belief could take root in my body. I myself have always looked at the situation
very differently. I saw that I had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that people treated me in this way.
These people all abused their position by using power or force. Through using their authority or just by
pushing me down or setting me aside.
In order to be able to bring my life plan into form in those situations, I had to find solutions so that the
intimidating behavior of the other person would not be triggered.
At first it worked fine by making me invisible. I made a distinction between activities that were important only to me and activities that were also important to others and life as a whole. By giving up what I wanted for myself, for my own life, I could just do the things that were important to everyone, without triggering intimidating behavior.
Until that didn't work anymore!
By making myself invisible I could no longer co-create the best life for everyone. I had to be who I am
completely and use all my qualities.
That made me visible.
And then the battle began.
In that battle, I not only found myself in situations where my 'being' was compromised. I was now discredited
too. Everything was done to prevent me from carrying out my life plan and thus bringing about change. For
example, in the balance of power. I made sure that people who abused their power to benefit themselves and
their own lives at the cost of others could no longer do so.
Was this then a battle for power? Nope.
This was a battle between abusing a position of power for one's own benefit and one's own life, and co-creating
the best life for everyone with natural authority.
But the battle was too challenging, too intense for my body!
My survival system was triggered and I wondered why. I didn't suffer from survival anxiety and therefore had
no anxious thoughts.
Of course, if you don't survive a situation, you can't carry out your life plan. So survival is the first
priority, but your safety is guaranteed if you follow your life plan.
The survival mechanism may have value for people who have deviated from their life plan, but it is a (serious) obstacle for people who follow their life plan.
I came to the conclusion that the survival system that the body responds to is a remnant from a previous evolutionary phase. From an evolutionary phase in which we had not yet developed far enough to be able to follow our life plan, and in which we experienced our living environment as hostile. For example, because the Earth was still developing.
The survival system is thus triggered by a hostile environment, based on the firm belief that hostilities
are life-threatening.
My life, however, was never in danger. What was at stake was my life plan. The hostilities were
aimed at preventing me from carrying out my life plan at all costs. Because this was a direct threat to the
continued existence of a way of life that is at the expense of the quality of the lives of others.
And then I come to the question: how can the survival system be switched off in situations where survival is not at stake?
