Living together peacefully and using shared resources on the same piece of land is possible if everyone understands that we are all on Earth for the same purpose

October 2024

The terrible situation in the Middle East continues to occupy people's spirits. Mine too. In a meditation I suddenly gained insight into what drives America to facilitate Israel in destroying people and their living environment. People who, like them, just want to live their lives in complete freedom.

Through the iconic Statue of Liberty, America wants to show the entire world that this freedom is a high priority for them. However, it seems that this freedom does not apply to everyone. Only to Americans. And they seem to think that it is permitted to protect this freedom by restricting the freedom of others or taking it away completely by occupying and destroying residential areas and even destroying lives.

Just like the Israelites, there were already people living on the land where the Americans wanted to settle from Europe. And to these people they have done the same thing that the Israelites did to the Palestinians. They took their land, decimated the population and put them in reservations (read: open-air prisons).

I have a hard time understanding that line of thinking. Who is America, who is Israel, that they think they have the right to limit the freedom of certain groups of people? To me, it looks like a show of force. “I restrict your freedom because I can!”

However, the ability to take the freedom, the quality of life and the living environment and even the lives of other people, comes with the responsibility to ensure that everyone, without exception, can express who they are in complete freedom.
Because that is what life is about. And not about taking the freedom to do what you want because you can, at the expense of the freedom of others and at the expense of the quality of life on Earth.

Exercising power without taking the corresponding responsibility for other people and life as a whole leads to the destruction of possibilities that have been added to life through evolution to form, experience, study and improve life.

Collective thought form

What could be the origin of this line of thinking? I couldn't figure it out. That's why I decided to look at this issue together with a fellow healer. By combining our healing powers and skills we gained clear insight into the situation.

In the current conflict, there are various parties that have a certain responsibility to keep everything on track. And at the same time, you see that no one takes this responsibility. They talk and vote and then they don’t take the much needed action.
The various parties all play a certain role in the conflict. The thoughts of all these roles are dictated by an age-old collective thought form.

This thought form was started by the thoughts, beliefs and actions of a group of people and then grew stronger as more and more people came along who thought the same, held the same beliefs and acted in the same way. Until the thought form had grown so strong that people in a similar situation were drawn into a similar role in the thought form which then determined their thoughts, beliefs and actions.

By entering into a dialogue with the people who are at the basis of this thought form, we were able to discover the cause of the emergence of the idea that you have the right to protect your freedom at the expense of others. In this way, we were able to clarify the misunderstanding that had arisen and to let the different parties look at each other in a different way.
As a result, the collective thought form has changed and it has lost its destructive effect.
This does not mean that the problem in the Middle East has now been solved immediately, because the harmful thought process can still be present at an individual level.

We encountered 4 roles or archetypes, namely:
– the Destroyer
– the Tormentor
– the Mother
– the Frightening God

Below is a summary of the conversation we had with these individuals.

Archetypical role ‘the Destroyer’
We took the archetypical role of ‘The Destroyer’ as a starting point, because we wanted to understand that mechanism. We had not yet identified the other roles.
When I asked if this person wanted to show himself, he did not want to at first. He was afraid that I wanted to change him. (Yes, I am infamous in the other realms.)
Me: “I have no intention of changing you. I do wish for you to know who you are and to know that you are good as you are and that you are no less than anyone else and that there is therefore no reason to destroy everything around you. What I want to do is show you that. I see you, but can you see yourself?”
He responds with: “You are not my mother!” (Okay...what's up with that mother?)

Me: “I get the feeling that you’re afraid of me. What are you afraid of?”
Him: “I’m afraid that you won’t love me. I’m afraid that you’ll think I’m a bad person. And I'm afraid I can't live up to your standard.”
I ask what happened to him that makes him afraid of this. It’s too traumatic for him to tell, so he shows me and lets me feel it.
He shows me that he was laughed at and humiliated. It feels like I’ve been punched or kicked in the stomach, and I cringe. I ask, “Were they trying to break you? Did they want you to believe that you’re nothing more than dust? That you belong on the ground?” Yes, clearly.

Then my head slowly turns the other way. Oh! “Was there anyone looking the other way, when this happened to you?” (The mother probably …..)
“I feel so bad for you that this happened to you! This shouldn’t have happened.” (Did I say that? Or did the mother say that, full of emotion, through me?)

So this person was given no space to live, to be himself and could do nothing but destroy his tormentor to regain his freedom.
“Who did this to you?”, we ask and we ask this person to appear before us.

Archetypical role ‘the Tormentor’
I ask the Tormentor why he wanted to humiliate this person.
Him: "Because he looked ridiculous!" “And because I could.”
We didn't ask the question why he thought the other looked ridiculous, but later I saw that the Tormentor looked more evolved than the Destroyer. So we could be dealing with people of two different evolutionary levels here.

My colleague asks the Destroyer and the Tormentor to look each other in the eye, so that they can see the other as he really is.
They both calm down and see that there is no difference between them. They are equal. They see that they both have an equal right to live and to be who they are. No one has to be the same as the other. Just be themselves. And one is not better than the other.

And then I get to see the real problem. In order to be themselves, everyone needs a piece of the Earth and material and food and other resources that the Earth has to offer.
But how do you divide that? And is there enough for everyone?
They look at the Earth. At the space they need to build their house on and live their lives. To be themselves. They now see that they both need that land and resources to be able to express who they really are.

Tormentor: “But I need more space than the other.”
I ask why that is so.
“Because I have more possibilities to express myself”
(Again the difference in evolutionary level comes to the fore, and with it a difference in possibilities to live life.)

My colleague asks if the Destroyer is okay with the other taking up more space.
No, that doesn't make sense to him. He feels anger rising and falls back into the feeling that he is less valuable than the other. "Take your place," I say to him. "You are worth it. You are equal to the other person and you have equal rights."
To the other I say: "Do you see now that you have no right to take land and necessities from the other? Can you see that you are infringing the other person and also the land that he has the right to to use?"
Yes, he does see that, but the two of them cannot figure out how that should be done.
We decide to bring in the Mother.

Archetypical role ‘The Mother’
The mother does not want to interfere in what is happening between the two men. She pretends not to see it, not to know. “It is none of my business. It doesn't concern me,” she says.
I ask why she thinks it is none of her business. What would happen if she intervened?
“Then I would get hurt.”
The mother does not dare to intervene when others are involved in a conflict, because she would then be held responsible for the behavior of the others and she herself would get hurt. This idea has completely paralyzed her, which allowed the disagreement between the others to spiral out of control.
Me: “What makes you afraid of this responsibility? What happens if you feel responsible or if someone holds you responsible?”
Mother: “If I take my responsibility, I will have to deal with the wrath of the gods!”

So apparently there is a god who holds the mother responsible for the behavior of the others. What is striking is that there is no father, but we did not go into that in this session. I suspect that this ‘god’ has abused the absence of a father and has started to pretend to be an all-seeing invisible father who punishes those responsible. And because there is no father and the mother has put these boys on Earth after all, the mother is held responsible.
The fear of this ‘god’ is well ingrained in this mother. She does not dare to meet him.
I say that she will see that there is nothing to be afraid of. I do not believe that it is a God, but an ordinary person who is trying to scare her. And he can do that successfully by remaining invisible.
The Mother agrees and I call in the Fear-inducing god.

Archetypical role ‘the Fear-inducing god’
The god that the mother is so afraid of turns out to be a forest god.
I ask why he is terrorizing these people.
Forest god: “Because they have come to live in my forest.”
Me: “Your forest? Or do you mean: the forest where I used to live alone and where other people have now come to live? After all, the Earth is there for everyone.”
Forest god: “No, it is MY forest and I want them to leave my forest,”
Me: “Yes, but they are not going to do that. They are here, so…”
“What do you need from them now that they are also living in the forest with you?”
Forest god: “Space”
Me: “Do you need space, distance, between you and the others who also live in the forest? So that you can hide from them and not have to deal with them?”
Forest god: “I don’t need other people in my forest.”

My colleague asks what the others think about the forest god wanting them to leave the forest. The others say that they didn’t know that someone else was already living in the forest. They were just living there.
I ask them all: “What now? Now that you know that the land was already inhabited by someone else and now that you know that this is not your forest? Is there a way that you can live together in the same space in a respectful way?”
The forest god answers that he is willing to do so. “They seem like nice people to me.”
The mother is also willing, but wonders about the responsibility if something goes wrong.
Mother: “What if I or one of the others accidentally does something that harms someone else while we are just living our lives, will I be punished for that?”
I ask everyone, “Do you think you would punish someone if one of you makes a mistake by just being who you are by living on the shared land and using the shared resources?”
They; “Only when they do it on purpose.”
I ask them if they think there is anyone who wants to harm the others on purpose.
They look at each other and answer, “No, we don’t think anyone would do that on purpose.”

The whole problem seems to revolve around the question of how to live together successfully and peacefully on the same piece of land and how to divide the shared resources.
And the answer seems to lie in the understanding that everyone is here on Earth for the same purpose. Namely to develop and use the possibilities that the Earth adds to life to improve life for everyone. So although everyone looks different and has different possibilities to fill in life, everyone has exactly the same right to live on this Earth and to use everything that the Earth has to offer for living the life that fits exactly who they are.
